Bristol Sound And Vision Show After a three hour train journey with a bunch of welsh rugby
supporters I arrived at The Bristol Marriott hotel, which half a
mile from the station. It was £8 to get in to the Sound and
Vision show, so armed with a map and brochure I was off to
explore the show.

the The
Bristol Show On the ground floor near the entrance I found a great
selection of accessory companies, showcasing cables and AV
Furniture, stands and cabinets. Spectral the German furniture
manufacturer was there with a selection of their premium stands,
and Atacama with their sleek stylish and performance enhancing
racks.
In the meeting and conference rooms of the Marriott hotel was
where big AV brands were. KEF, Denon, Sony, JVC and Pioneer where
some of the brands show casing their products in these
rooms.
In the Wharfedale and Mission room, Mission where
demonstration their 79 Series and MV series, all though they
looked the part I was slightly disappointed with their quality of
Sound, the new Diamond 10 speakers are suppose to be far
superior. On the higher floors the bedrooms had been stripped and
turned into mini demonstration rooms, giving the visitors the
chance to listen to and admire the products a little
closer.
At the Bristol Sound and Vision show you are sometimes able to
buy equipment directly from the manufactures at slightly
discounted prices. Strolling around the Sound and vision show I
saw some really impressive pieces of equipment, many of which I
wanted for myself. . Making a mental note of the codes and
products I was interested in I spoke to a sales man at Sound and
Vision to see if they had better prices.
I was really impressed when Sound and Vision could better the
prices of the equipment I had seen at show and give me free
delivery, making the train journey home that much easier. I left
the show really pleased with what I had seen and the savings I
made by ring my local Sound and vision retailer for
prices.
Once again the Bristol show is set to be impressive, make sure
you take a note pad, pen and number and shop around for prices
before you buy a I found Sound and Vision to be cheaper.
